Important information on DVD authentication
For DVD systems there is, in addition to the access control via an internet connection to the MDM, also the option to generate an authentication code with the aid of the MDM. This generated code can be communicated to the user by email, telephone, fax or letter. This allows for the DVD catalogue system and the integrated modules to also be authenticated without internet access. The PC code is displayed in the catalogue system and relates to the computer on which the catalogue is installed. If the software is to be installed on a different catalogue, a different PC code is used and a new authentication code must be generated.
