First two differentiations:
A) Catalogue systems with online access
For catalogue systems with online access the changes in the customer and user administration take effect with the next login of the customer/user with a delay of up to five minutes. This applies both to access improvements and access restrictions up to the cancellation (deletion) of the activation.
B) Catalogue systems without online access
Catalogue systems without online access are DVD-based systems which cannot be activated or authenticated via online query. The authentication code is communicated to the client by telephone, email or letter. The authentication then ends with the end of the validity of the authentication code. Changes can only become effective by transferring a new authentication code to the catalogue installation.
