MDM differentiates between customers and users.
| • | The customer ist the subscriber of a catalogue system. Which catalogue systems with which features are available to the customer is defined in the trader administration. The trader configuration in the MDM depends on the agreements with the publisher of the catalogue system (licensee). These settings are made by DVSE GmbH. The subscription data of the customer are managed and maintained by the licensee in MDM. The subscription includes catalogue systems and modules and defines which catalogue systems and modules can be allocated to a user. |
| • | The user is the clientwho makes use of the subscribed catalogue. He logs into the catalogue with his login and and password. Via the MDM catalogue systems and modules are allocated to the user. Via activation these allocations are authenticated (activated). |
