The MDM manual describes all functions and configuration options provided in the MDM. Which of them are available to you depends on your licence agreement.
Structure of the MDM manual:
The MDM offers a multitude of configuration options which are project-dependent. Please address any questions about the MDM directly to your project advisor. The support of DVSE GmbH cannot assist you with the MDM.
Menu items are either displayed directly or a menu can be opened by right click.
Explanation of terms:
| • | A catalogue publisher or licensee is whoever is in possession of a TOPMOTIVE catalogue licence, markets the catalogue in his own name and gives his customers access to the catalogue. |
| • | In the MDM the catalogue systems and modules are controlled by way of allocation to the trader. The trader represents the technical representation of the TOPMOTIVE licence agreement of the licensee. |
| • | A Customer is the customer of the licensee (catalogue publisher) who has been granted access to the catalogue by the licensee. The scope and costs of access are agreed via a subscription between the licensee (catalogue publisher) and the customer. Therefore, the terms "customer" and "subscriber" are identical. |
